It is important to continue one's education through research. Below you will find various articles from magazines I have written and research papers to edify the community of my approach and practice.
SERVICES.
As a therapist, I strive to meet each of my clients authentically in their present state to help them slow their life process and unpack the hidden truths. My passion is to work within relational aspects and relational issues. Working with relational issues is a blessing and an honor. As their story unfolds, a greater intimacy between spouses unfolds magnifying growth and respect. Walking through cancer has also opened my heart to serving those walking through cancer as well as those battling along side. It can be a dark and scary period in one's life and often just having one to share your heart with can be uplifting.
In any case, in my therapuetic approach I use Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), which will meet you where you are. An attachment history will be explored in detail followed by a process of de-escalation. In these parts, joining with clients in their journey is necessary for de-escalation. As de-escalation approaches, therapy shifts to mapping out the negative cycle so that the client(s) may better understand what has caused this block in their life. This process is very important and cannot be rushed. Following, is restructuring the broken bonds and creating responsiveness at a deeper level. Finally, a process of consolidation and integration will be used to provide new solutions and creating secure attachments.
